A. Kenneth Green

A. Kenneth Green, age 103 of Millcreek passed away Sunday December 31st 2017 at Saint Vincent Hospital.
He was born in Smethport, PA on September 1st, 1914 to the late Samuel and Mittie Taylor Green.
Kenny graduated from Smethport High School and was an accomplished contactor and carpenter. He was a custom home builder and also remodeled many homes and businesses. He also enjoyed building furniture. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, serving as an Elder and Trustee, and also completed many building projects at the church over the years.  He volunteered at the Chosen Mission Project,  participating in a six week mission trip to Tanta, Egypt and also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels.
He was a life member of many organizations including the Lawrence Lodge No.708 F. & A.M.; Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Erie, 32nd Degree; and the Zem  Zem Temple Shrine.
 Kenneth was the Patriarch of five generations of the Green family. “Our Dad and Grandpa was a gentle man, strong in his Christian Faith, generous and loving, who left this earth to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ”. 
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Olive Clara Bonham Green, his daughter, Claudia Lee Green, and his grandson, Douglas Allan Green.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter Sandra Nuber (husband Robert) of Erie, and son Allan Kenneth Green (wife Cindy) of Wadsworth, OH; grandson David Nuber (wife Dana) of Puyallup WA, his granddaughters Krista Wooten (husband Doug) of Kingwood TX, Heather Nuber of Bloomington, IN, Robin Nuber of Cypress TX, and Mindy Green of Wadsworth, OH.  He is further survived by great-grandchildren Aurelia, Bradley, Macy, Carson and Tayte Nuber; Dallas and Memphis Wooten; and Ryan Green and a great-great granddaughter, Everest Jade Nuber.
Arrangements are entrusted to Burton West Lake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street Erie PA 16506.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church 3642 W. 26th Street, Erie, Pa 16506. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
